Which religions/cults are affecting today's world?

    Main World Religions:
    Atheism/Agnosticism (Secularism)
    Christianity
    Islam
    Hinduism
    Buddhism
    Taoism

    Minor World Religions:
    Neopaganism (The Occult/Wicca)
    Rastafariansim
    Baha'i
    Satanism
    Zoroastrianism
    Jainism
    Alchemy

    Christian Cults:
    Jehovah's Witnesses
    Mormons (LDS)
    Christian Science

I'm especially interested in learning about the other Christian Cults out there, but the other religions do spark a major interst as well. We, as Christians, should learn what other religions teach so we can know how to reach them better.

Which ones did I leave out? I KNOW there are some I left out just to see if anyone comes up with them! Happy Posting!

Under minor religions, I'd add Voodoo. A friend of mine is studying for the priesthood. :(

Hindu, Buddhism, Christian (RCC predominantly) are by far the largest.

But it is in the Christian group that you find the top 3 "impactors" in terms of mission work, education and World Wide Health systems as well as World Wide Relief agencies. Certainly the RCC is in that top group as well.

    In Christ,
