Repentance needed for Salvation?

    Exactly my point. He had only a very basic knowlege. Jesus is Lord, innocert and able to bring him to His kingdom.

    Apparently all this theif needed to do to be saved was change his mind and decide that Jesus was Lord and could save him.

    Do any of the words of Jesus Christ in the four gospels relate to eternal salvation in your view? If so, which ones?

    Right off the top of my head I can't think of any, but you can list some that you think do and we can deal with them.

    Jesus said He came to preach the kingdom, so I take Him at His Word!
