I used that term 2-3 months ago on a local radio talk show to describe the GOP candidates other than Congressman Ron Paul. I was not aware that Gingrich was in town listening to the program. :)

But Gingrich's credibility improved in my eyes when he borrowed that phrase from me. :)

I don't plan to vote for Mayor Gulliani but this is typical playing with words!

Someone could could quote me personally, in another venue, as having said "I didn't know they were going to ambush us." and then, later in the same story, quote me saving "They told me they were going to ambush us." and thereby, claim I was a liar. But, in reality, both statements were true because of the elements of time and context.

    The foolishness continues!

As for the "reporter", I wouldn't like someone sticking a camera in my face and "questioning" me with statements designed not to seek an answer but simply to shout out accusations. That's not reporting, friends, but rather it is harassment. The "freedom of the press" has limits just like all freedoms.

And we are seeing more and more of that. Even news anchors shouting down the people they call in to interview. I'm all in favor of folks speaking their mind, but lets get back to the days when it was Q, followed by A, not 5 minutes of garble. While I'm at it, just touch one of those guys cameras, or the guy himself, and watch the sparks fly ~~ or the lawsuit. It gets to the point where the interviewee wants to invite a punch, then floor the "reporter". I'm surprised we haven't seen that as heated as these exchanges are getting. Maybe Obama will floor Clinton ... or vice versa ... that ought to make the news. In the final analysis they'll kiss and make up; he'll join her as her VP candidate. Hide and watch.

People are sure getting frustrated aren't they? The politicians won't answer the public's questions and the media won't ask them. What's a country full of people feeling betrayed by their government to do? Just set down, shut up and act like good little automatons? That's not what the Declaration of Independence says.

I will gladly concede that point, KenH.

    Hope all is well,
BiR (headed back home to Tampa)

A person was escorted out of a Tancredo event in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Wonder why this didn't make news?
