Do you think this is a FELLOWSHIP or DEBATE thread??????????????????????????????

Is this where fundamentalists can retreat and post their ideas and not have them challenged?

Or is it a DEBATE thread???

Perhaps, the bb should move this thread to the fellowship section and ask nobody to ever challenge any tender fundamentalist's way of thinking there.

Do most fundies just want to preach their ideals without ever having them confronted.

Do they want protection from having their ideals obliterated?

Is that the idea of this particular forum??

If it is- it seems meaningless.

You said "I don't think there are 20,000,000 people who call themselves IFB".

Then you say there is a fringe of 20,000,000 IFBers.

I think it's time for your nap.

    [Mods, please close this thread.]

If we assume that tcassidy is right about there being 20,000,000 IFBers and that the backwards IFBers make up a small fringe of that movement...

then we recognize that, even so, a small fringe of TWENTY MILLION people is larger than many dangerous cults and far too many to be allowed to go unchecked.

I don't believe that there ARE TWENTY MILLION IFBERS- but even if there WERE and even if only a FRINGE of them were backwards...

    Got it yet?

I don't think you've got it Luke. Quit already. Take a time out. Get away from the BB for a while. Or, just read threads for a week or so without posting. Tenacity is good in some circumstances --but you have gone over the top. Let it go. I think in a few years time you will look back on your behavior here and regret it. You can't see it now. But,as they say, hindsight is 20-20.

Luke-what you're implying here is that if there are 20 million IFBers, then all 20 million are members of the "fringe". . .something you have vehemently denied by saying that you don't believe "all" IFBers are the same.

While I understand that you meant a portion of the 20 million, your wording was confusing.

You stopped making sense when your "?" key got stuck. Get some sleep, we'll all be around tomorrow.

It's especially humorous to see such purposeful misinterpretations of opposing viewpoints.

Luke, if you get this angry on a debate forum, what must you do in real life?

    I'm not angry at all.

The question marks were a desperate attempt to point out the silliness of someone's argumentation.

    Saying, "ARE YOU SERIOUS?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????"

    Is not anger- that's surprise.

    Two very different emotions.
