    Hi gek,

I have heard of him. He also has a few books. I don't really know what to think about him. Many conservative christians are sceptical of him.

    He's a false prophet.

He has a book called: The Final Quest

He claims to have been given dreams by Jesus.

It is really similar to Keanu Reeves movie "Constantine".

    He's a quack.

    @ IM

I don't know if he really means he's bigger than Paul, I think he means that Paul is saying that he is adoring the christians in the last days because they see what he didn't see.

umm.. the guy says that none of what he says is scripture.

can you point out why he's a false prophet?

("Constantine" was a good movie. :p)

Rick Joyner is part of the very troubling movement that began with the Kansas City Prophets. There are various names given to these related groups, which all overlap - the mainfest Sons of God, Kingdom Now, Latter Rain, Joel's Army, and other names. Others in the movement are Paul Cain and Bob Jones (not the Bob Jones of B. Jones university!).

One of the major characteristics of this group (Rick Joyner promotes many of the teachings of this group) is that they believe the Bible has been superseded by new revelation. They also claim that prophecies today from God about the future do not have to be 100% correct. This is how they explain their false prophecies.
