Neither campaign had accepted the offer of an audience with Warren.

Warren's explanation is that he decided to cancel the event at the last minute due to the candidates' unmannerly campaigning:

He'll hold a religious freedom summit next month instead:

Something has never set well with me and Warren.

Had he planned on preaching the Gospel at the forum? If not, he can sit down and hush and stop wasting time.

Agreed, Zaac. I suspect he is still trying to be "relevant" when he should be focused on faithfully preaching the pure Word (for once).

RW's always struck me as a self-promoter in the same vein as P.T. Barnum.

Who do you suppose the four heavyweights will be?

    Warren: "I have invited

the leading Catholic voice in America = _______________

the leading Jewish voice in America = _______________

and the leading Muslim voice in America = _______________

to join me" = the leading _________ voice in America

He is more interested in running a three ring circus than telling others about the Gospel. In that light, Obama and Romney would be perfect centers of attention at a forum held by him, a three ring circus.
