    Today my Pastor preached you cannot be self-righteous and be a child of God. There is nothing you can wear but the righteousness of Jesus. His Precious blood. We must all be humbled at His feet.

    Please take my hand as I kneel before the Lord. Whether you are wearing pants or skirts or nothing. whether your hair is long short or shaved; whether you are bald.

    Please forgive me if I have caused you to stumble or fall. If I have made you angry, or caused you to think evil thoughts. I know we do not agree on a topic. And we probably never will. But one thing we do agree on; is Jesus Christ is Lord.

    I love you. I am sorry. I too have already forgiven you.

    Isn't that awesome, Sherrie? Just this morning i was reading the book of Matthew when Jesus said that those who had eyes that could see and ears that could hear didn't see or hear at all (the self-righteous)! Only those who had become blind and deaf could truly hear and see! Only when I saw myself as God did was I able to be saved; and then, after salvation, only as I see myself as God now sees me am I able to grow!

    Thank the Lord for being blind and deaf!

    Twilight Zone alert... My pastor just preached a message on "You can't be self-centered and be Christ centered" A lesson on humility. Our lesson was on Paul...and how he died to self every day that he could be totally surrendered to God's will. How he was humbled and humiliated and how he was still able to praise God and have joy...even while dealing with all of the trials and pain he was put through.

    No surprise that God tells the pastors what to preach...and they will preach the same lessons miles and miles away to a whole different set of people using a different pastor.

    Isn't it wonderful to know that Our God is God. Not just something for a passing minute to fill a spot, but for eternity.

    And A Real God that gives us His Son. Wow! And He doesn't stop there. He gives us His Spirit, and Hope for eternal living.

    Thank you Father God. Thank you.
