Great speeches tonight!!!! I was very inspired by Thompson's speech! And what can we say about good ol' Joe...:thumbs:
As usual Cindy McCain looked smashing, what a dignified first lady she will make!

Pro-choice Joe? Senator Joseph Lieberman who, other than his support for Bush-McCain warmongering, conservatives have absolutely nothing in common with?

Fred did do well but I didn't see Joe. Had to run down t the Church.

In all I think the Republicans are off to a good start. Tomorrow I look forward to finding our who Sarah Palin is.

    Entertainment by the one girl?

Entertainment by the one girl? I do not know her name was fantastic, if anyone could get her name I would appreciate it.

First Impressions: No diversity, all caucasian old people , trying to play catch up with Obama on the "Change" message.

Laura Bush and Cindy McCain a study in contrasts, seemed far a part
Cindy McCain and daughter was heart warming to see.

Joe Lieberman: that voice, that voice, that voice, no inspiration.

Fred Thompson: now there was a real actor, bad, but a real actor <wink>

No Dick Cheney: In an undisclosed location.

George Bush Jr. : Desperation to save legacy , fell flat, then Reagan washed him off the screen.

tonight it is Sarah Palin: The Rove types will try to lower,I mean really lower expectations , which is what they do , in the dumbing down of America.

She still needs to hit a Barry Bonds style homer but actually she needs to hit it in the canal, she will get more of the redneck vote, serving up Moose and guns as for women , I am not so sure , the Christian Feminists works and then it doesn't.

this sums it up from Pappy Bush

Winner of the night: Cindy McCain

Breaking News today on Mrs. McCain is that she disagrees with the socially extreme views of Sarah Palin on abortion.

Fred Thompson knocked it way out of the park. Tonite's Palin speech is the most anticipated, and feared event in a long time.

BTW, YTCBS, do you know a guy that blogs by the name of ASLANSPAL ?
