    I don't know anyone else has heard about this, but Robert Tilton (the televangelist who promoted "Word of Faith" prosperity movement). He's on BET.

    He's been back for a while and he's showing up in multiple locations. From what I can tell, he hasn't changed much. Probably keeping track of his letters better, but a lot of his messages seem to come through e-mail ...

    The USA is a free country and Tilton has the right to buy air time from anyone that will sell it to him.
    Notice however that "Charismatics" and "Word of Faith" ministries seem to distance themselves from him.

    Sadly there will always be those who will follow those claiming to be God's "annointed". The theology which belongs in the waste bin, right next to where this snake-oil, money-changer deposits their prayer requests.

    I can sure understand why my Lord made a whip and turned over the tables. :mad:

    Robert Tilton needs our prayers.
    I believe first of all that all Born Again Christians are annointed. Some are annointed to be evangelist, Pastors, etc. and some are annointed to be on television.
    with an annointing comes great responsibility.
    KIng Saul was annointed and Daveid recognized God's annointing even after Saul abused his position for selfish reasons. Becasue David recognized that God's annointing had been placed upon saul he refused to hurt him or allow anyone else to hurt him.
    I believe that if Saul had repented God would have restored him since the gifts and callings of god are without repentance. Sad to say , Saul did not repent. I only pray that Robert Tilton will repent.

    Am I correct in believing that this is a Baptist-only Forum? Am I correct in believing that only people who declare themselves as Baptist are able to post in the Baptist only forums? I just need a little clarification here.

    Maybe Robert Tilton might want to get together with Jimmy Bakker. It might actually do Robert some good.
