I have just seen the most unusual thing. Right at this moment (and it is snowing), there must be 50 or more robins in my yard. I have never seen robins in Connecticut in the winter. I went online and googled "do robins migrate" and found one site that said they do, but they will stay put providing there is food. Now, this winter seems the same as all others here, the trees are bare, we have snow cover, the temperatures have been very low. In fact, the low tonight is supposed to be 5 degrees Fahrenheit. So, no big deal, but this is the first time I have ever seen robins in the winter here.
