Why would I need the blueprint to God's throne when it's in the Bible for free?

I've watched Parsley for a few months and think he could be a decent preacher if he could get money off his mind. I believe greed has him in its grasp. It's one thing for a preacher to sell a book he has written, it's another to act like this. :(

Yeah, he would be a good preacher if he would get out of those 'health, wealth and proserity'; Name it and claim it; and word of of Faith movements. All of which are all fales teaching and IMO - blatent herisies. Most specifically the Word of Faith movement. And of course to stop pretending he is speaking for God by sending out his get spiritual fast schemes while lining his pockets with volumes of money.

Other than that he would be a good preacher.

He's got really cool hair...and he spits when he talks. Reminds me of my high school football coach.

I also love the organ music whenever he makes a "big point"

This is a good example of how some people say "God told me to ....." but we can be sure that God didn't tell them that. It borders on mysticism.

For added effect i put on my old football helmet, spray used chewing tobacco juice on my face and get right up to the TV...ahh, the good old days!

Wait, were my football coaches the only ones who chewed tobacco and chewed out players at the same time?!?!?!

I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But, he is money obsessed.
I'd like to see him change, I'm not sure if he could.

He's not too far away from me. I'm not sure what I'd say to him for him to see the errors of his ways. :(

Guys, guys, guys... We're not scheduled to bash Rod Parsley until the third week of November. Please observe the schedule. This week is Tony Campolo. Next week is John Piper (you jumped the gun on that one, too). The week after next is a re-hash of bashing Jerry Falwell. I'll publish the whole schedule as soon as I get a chance. I'm trying to sort out dead guys from living guys. Yeah, I know, it's more fun to bash dead guys, but we have to get some of the living ones in there sometimes.

So, what is wrong with Falwell?

I know he was in a movie he should have stayed away from. But, other than that I don't know too much about him. I haven't seen much bad press on him other than non-christians who bash him. But, they do that with every preacher and Christian.

I don't believe we should bash each other. The world does enough of that. :(
