    Romans 14:19 (KJV1873):

Let us therefore follow after the things
which make for peace, and things wherewith
    one may edify another.

We shall exercise our soul in this topic
by saying something nice about somebody else
    on this board.

This topics IS NOT a discussion of whether
or not we should edity one another.
This topic is a spiritual exercise.

I am a "new kid" Sunday school teaching wise, been doing it about 5-6 years or so. Edifier said on another thread that he has been teaching Sunday school "pretty much for the past 32 years."

Anyone in that position for that long has obviously had many blessings from the Lord, I pray the best is still to come in the ministry God has given you mate.

Okay, well Ed and Betty, I can count on you both to be kindly affectionate to everyone on the board and I appreciate it more than I can express. Furthermore, I wish you didn't feel that it was better not to post in the more volitile threads, I think that a few encouraging words from the both of you could make quite a bit of difference in the tone in them.

I would like to say thank you to all the people here that would rather laugh than through punches. It makes it fun. That would include IAmBlessed16 (Sue), StubbornKelly, JohnV, Jon Magee, Sherrie, Jim1999, Titus, And even Blackbird...who likes to throw punches...but makes me laugh when he's doing it....Who else, who else...this is like the Acadamy awards...I know I'm forgetting much more people than I mean to. Anyway...to all of you who would rather remember your Christian Charity and be kind to others...while also making me laugh on occasion. Thank You.

I enjoy the threads where people share the little things about their lives whether humorous or not. I work a very stressful job that envokes all kinds of responses from both co-workers and ultimately, customers. Coming to the BB is like a daily retreat.

I have enjoyed many stories and the ongoing threads. I look forward to contribute when I can. Some of the posters I look for when I'm on are Abiyah, Sue, WS, SK, Sherrie, Thankful and Darkbird. They are always courteous and don't stress me out. I'm thankful for Barnabas 7 who always has a warm welcome.

    1 Peter 3:8 (nKJV):
Finally, all of you be of one mind,
    having compassion for one another;
    love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous;

Abiyah reminds me of this verse!
I like to read posts of Sister Abiyah.
She has had (or knows one who has had)
    every problem that anybody
can have and knows how to avoid having
that problem and can share the solution kindly.

    Thank you, mate!

The Singing Churchmen of Oklahoma are coming
to your country this month. The worship leader
(formerly called: choir director or music leader)
of my church is in this group.

    John 13:34 (NKJV)

A new commandment I give to you,
    that you love one another;
as I have loved you, that you also
    love one another.

Wisdom Seeker, I think you have
found great wisdom and the above
    verse reminds me of you.

I like to read your posts of "wisdom".

This little poem tells exactly how I feel about people:

He drew a circle that shut me out-
Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.
But Love and I had the wit to win:
We drew a circle that took him in!

    -Edwin Markham

As a moderate moderator, I cannot name names, lest I show a prejudice, but some people always, always exemplify what being a believer is all about......"I drew a circle that brings you in..."

Cheers, and God bless us everyone,

    Jim

I have seen a true spirit of christian love in stubbornkelly. She took the time to pm me because she thought she had offended me (she hadn't), but I very much appreciated her concern for my feelings.

    Looking UP,
    Carol

I am Thankful for Preach the Word

    Luke 20:21

Then they asked Him, saying, "Teacher,
we know that You say and teach rightly,
and You do not show personal favoritism,
but teach the way of God in truth:
    ----------------------------------------

Even though I have disagreed with
Preach the Word, he has always
treated me with kindness. I admire his
knowledge and stand on his beliefs.

Thank you to everyone who had a kind word for me. I feel completly unworthy. It seems that I have so many enemies, whenever anyone says something nice...it just makes me cry. It takes me completly by surprise. [IMG]

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Sorry, I was feeling sorry for myself over something someone said to me yesterday.

Every morning I wake up with a feeling of hope and possibilities, and I just try to move forward instead of holding on to yesterday's hurts. My phylosophy is "Forgive and move on. Holding on to that stuff causes cancer". ;)

There are so many posters that I am thankful for that I dare not start mentioning names for fear of leaving someone out.

The only name I will mention is "webmaster" because he is the one who started this board and gave all of us the chance to get to know each other. Thank you for that webmaster!

I have become fast friends with several of the posters. I am especially thankful for the posters who can agree to disagree without getting hateful and attacking ME rather than my ISSUES.

There is a lot of love on this board and I am so grateful to be the recipient of it.

    Love in Christ,
    Sue

I'm sending out a cyber-hug to Diane for encouraging everyone to pray for me as I had a doctor's appointment this morning. That meant alot to me; I even feel like crying "happy tears". I love you--Diane and everyone else who took time to pray.
