The problem is that we have allowed the term, child of God, to be applied universally based on the understanding that all humanity came from one place. For many that is Adam, to others it is Noah, some say its mother earth, and still to others it is pond of ooze. That's not an exhaustive list, but you get the idea.

From a biblical standpoint we can trace all humanity back to Adam. All people are created by God. That is biblical. That does not mean we are all children of God and it is a shame, as it does breed confusion, that some choose to use the label "we are all children of God" to describe this reality. The Scriptures are clear that only those who are saved are really children of God. By adoption we have been moved from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light. All others are of their father the devil.

Romney used a poor choice of words. Still, it was better than the flow of lies from Obama.

And just who is the murderer running on the Republican side? I believe you are <PA deleted - LE>. But that is what Obama shills do best!

He didn't use a poor choice of words. He used the words that espoused what he believes. His belief is based in falsehood so it's to be expected that his communication about anything to do with religion be based in the same sort of untruth.

    For out of the mouth...

Nothing but politics seems to be able to make folks try to spin one lie as better than another.

If Obama is an abortionist because he pushes for legislation that is pro-abortion then Romney is a murder because he pushes false doctrine that leads men to hell.

I believe you are breaking BB rules.

Apparently Romney has a few of his own to do his bidding on here.

Romeny probably thought it would be interpreted as "Christian" statement.

Of course he is. He thinks the timing of Christ's return is dependent upon it.

When asked why he seemed to be gleaming that Obama was leading in a poll, Zaac replied, "Because the faster he wins , the quicker this election mess can be over, and he can continue his systematic destruction of the country and Jesus will come on back and get His people on out of here."

THAT is probably exactly what he thought. But you got so many folks of the evangelical type who refuse to acknowledge that the man might represent a stumbling block to the lost with what he believes that they refuse to see the confusion that is being authored by supporting him and giving him a larger platform upon which to brandish his Mormon beliefs.

Awww. The Christians are scared that Jesus will come back and ruin their political party and keep them from using their 401ks and passing everything on to their kids and grandkids.

OR, to be fair, Zaac has stated many times he dislikes Obama as much as Romney. We are both voting for Romney, but know he is a very flawed candidate.

On the positive side, this is the first time I think we actually have a chance of winning.

SN, Zaac has repeatedly advocated writing in a candidate and has said he will not be voting for Romney.

"Offspring," then. Adam was never born of God, nor a partaker of the divine nature, but the Scriptures call him the son of God, and so every man is a son of God in that sense.

When you ridicule the Christians, are you implying that you are not counted as one? The wording of your post sounds like it.

And if you are a Christian, why the ridicule in the first place? There's enough that comes from those who are outside the faith, without fellow believers engaging in self-persecution.

How many of you all think Old Regular and Zaac are the same person?

    We need a leader...not a pastor.

I think he realizes he's exposing himself and is trying to troll with a different lure.

So we've had Romney say we all worship the same god, and we had Bush say we all worship the same god; but I'm somehow incorrect.

Fellas, we are not going to have a born again Christian in there,
either way, so I am voting according to economic needs first,
then party platform items such as traditional marriage,
pro life, and support of Israel.

    I am voting Republican.
