Why don't you just get off it!

How many times does a person have to say they were wrong in their past vote before you give it a rest. That is unless you have never made a mistake in your life. Ken has said it was a mistake to vote for Obama, get over it! Please. :tonofbricks:

Yes, he is a libertarian in his political philosophy - as am I. Which is why I have been a supporter of Ron Paul, and also of the Cato Institute, for about thirty years.

IMO - for Ron Paul to be considered as accomplished in his career should he have not been able to have convinced others to follow his lead in pulling back the government's over-reach?

What good does it do to have a life long politician in office who greatest claim to fame is that he says "limited government" while bringing home the earmark bacon?

Considering good intentions without accomplishment to be a success is a liberal/democrat mindset.

He has. Have you noticed how many younger folks he has invigorated to push for limited government? Yes, we know that younger folks don't vote as much as older folks; however, one day these younger folks will be older folks.

So all he has to show for over 20 years in office is that "younger folks" have been "invigorated to push for limited government"?

Why has he been so uninfluential in authoring and passing bills to roll back the government?

"The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground." - Thomas Jefferson

It's a very, very upmountain battle that folks such as Ron Paul are engaged in.
