Ronald Reagan Tells A Good Joke About Democrats! Like?

Republican National Convention, 1976, in Kansas City. Regan's appearance here turned Missouri and Kansas both into conservative states thereafter. He struck a cord with them, and both states provided majorities for him four years later.

(PS: Any good politician knows you don't make a speech in Kansas City or anywhere else in Missouri without mentioning Harry Truman. We even named the Mizzou mascot "Truman.")

 

Reagan was clean-cut. They said that went he kissed his wife on camera that it was worth 10,000 votes.

I have often wondered why it is that Conservatives are called the "right" and Liberals are called the "left”.

By chance I stumbled upon this verse in the Bible: "The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left." Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV)
