Fairy tales. It is always the choice these two make. Facts confuse them.

I reject your challenge as it doesn't matter what you try and avoid. Reagan was an abortionist.

The conveniently forget that he signed the Therapeutic Abortion Act while governor in California that resulted in a huge increase in abortions there.

There was another famous man who repented of killing of the innocent that all here are on his side now. The Apostle Paul. Repentance is a wonderful thing.

That is all I'm saying for this is a stupid thread meant to fish for a fight.

The thread wasn't meant to fish for a fight. The thread was meant to highlight how ridiculously stupid it is for Christian conservatives on this board and off to set about denigrating anything that doesn't politically meet their muster.

The man is dead. If folks want to honor him for the good things he did, well more power to them.

We honor Reagan and he was an abortionist too. That was the point.

The only reason the thread is still going is because the usual angry suspects have to cast dispersion upon anyone and anything that doesn't fit into their poitical bubble.

So Mandela was an abortionist. Reagan was one too.

So. It's not a sin to be a Commie either. Doesn't change the fact that Reagan was an abortionist just like Mandela.

The lot of ya continue to present a very ugly picture of Christianity.

Theological error is sin and it is a sin to be pro-choice because you are for the murder of the unborn baby. That is the immorality of the Democrat Party today.

"being pro-choice is not a sin"

Well there you have it. Now we know why this thread.

By the way being pro choice is pure evil and a sin. And anyone who is pro choice should be soundly condemned. And anyone who suggests it is not s sin is evil and needs to be soundly condemned. The slaughter if unborn children is......there are no appropriate words.

Both Zach and CBT need to be banned for their anti-life positions.

The reason why that being pro-choice is a sin is as follows - granted, this is only my opinion, but BEING my opinion, I hold fast to it.

Those who are pro-choice are proclaiming that the choice to give birth to a child and the choice to kill it in or freshly out of the womb are equal actions in moral nature. The only factor to hold any merit above the equal birth and murder is the "choice".

The pro-choice person puts the self-centered will and lifestyle comfort of the mother, father, boyfriend, doctor, grandparent, and family above the life of a child.

Life is not sacred. Death is not in God's hands. Only the perverted choice is holy and sacred. Man's will prevails as holy.

They are like Pilate - believing themselves to "wash their hands" of any involvement in the abortion problem, but in placing the murder of a child in equal moral status as giving birth to a child and declaring the "choice" of the mother and family to prevail over life - they have much blood on their hands.

And as usual, you're grasping at straws. I don't have to imply what I intend to say. If I had intended to say that it was sinful for a Christian to support the death penalty you would have read it and been quoting it right now.

So go chase your ghosts and think you're making a point with somebody else.

off to the land of IGNORE.

Feigned indignation rather than rational reply. Why would we expect more?

I'd say that God is pro-choice, IMO in that He's given everyone of us the right to choose to do right or wrong.

But He's also pro-life as that is the CORRECT choice.

So there is nothing sinful about wanting to have the option to choose. The sin is making the wrong choice.

I'm prolife myself and believe abortion to be a terrible thing, but I can't agree with this. Members have a right to their own opinions, whether or not other members like it. The only things anyone could be banned for are those outlined in the site rules.

But maybe that's just because I place a high value on freedom of thought and speech.

It is against the posting rules to espouse certain views contrary to the board. One of the is the abortion issue.
