    Kathy,

I didn't mean for this to be a beggardly missionary letter ;) . But, I am sure not going to turn down a chance at a Moon Pie! Our address can be found at our website.

    Thanks,
    Roger

Oh, Roger, don't be deceived into eating Moon Pies or Drinking "Root" BEER.

COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM AND BE YE SEPARATE . .

(I think "care packages" to missionaries with stuff they cannot get on the field is WONDERFUL) [IMG]

sugar is NOT the cause of diabetes. This is an absolute fallacy. It ascerbates the problem, but does not cause it.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Its too late Dr Bob. Very rarely a local shop has root beer and we grab it when we see it. Oh, the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. When it comes to root beer I am afraid that too often, if it is available I "walk after the flesh and not after the spirit!" :D :D

Haha. I bet sugar would get FDA approval, considering that glucose and other saccharides are the body's main source of energy. [IMG]

It isn't sugar in and of itself that casues diabetes, but becasue it is a carbohydrate, thus making all carbohydrates(when eating too many of them,an over abundence of foods with high carbs and little or no nutrutional value, some are good for you) that casues the body to begin rejecting insulin(diabetes).
I've had to do a great deal of research and as Jim once said the very best place is the ADA.

    COFFEE?

Lips that touch coffee will never touch mine!

Coffee is a wonderful herbal product. It helps cleanse the colon of poisons that might otherwise be "downloaded" into the bloodstream. WE have used it extensively over 35 years when symptoms of the flu or food poisoning for ourselves and our children.

NOT decaf (they use acids and gasoline - no joke) to strip the coffee of caffeine

    NOT instant

    It MUST be "brewed".

After brewing, allow it to come to room temperature. Then use an enema bag.

[Sidenote: When my kids were little and we took them to Denny's, they saw someone order a cup of coffee. They all looked aghast at me and whispered, "Dad, he's DRINKING that!"]
