Sanctity of Life Sunday

    For those of you that observed it, did you have any problems preaching on Sanctity of Life? I personally have no trouble doing it, but everytime the topic comes up, you can bet (as it was this past Sunday) that there will be numerous visitors in the congregation - and to many of them I'd rather be preaching an evangelical message.

    It happens every time!

    We did very well in our special service towards the sanctity of life. I even got our Adult Sunday School involved by taking baby bottles and filling them with change to send to the local care pregnancy center (they do this coin drive every year at this time). I even made the challenge that if we get so many bottles that I will donate a bottle with change and a added check for a certain amount.

    I am filling the pulpit for a vacationing pastor this Sunday. They had a missionary last week, so we will observe RTL this week. Looking forward to it - preaching from Jeremiah.
