With Barack Obama you get no executive experience and a lot of talk. He'll be president in January if elected.

She is a Christian, a babe, intelligent, a mother of 5, and has great leadership qualities besides being the first woman VP candidate in the Republican Party. Wow! I'm totally impressed. Great choice! The mundane has definitely turned exciting! Way to go, John McCain! I wish I could go vote today!!!

So now leadership qualities substitute for experience?

First term Gov, she has been Gov for two years... She also never studied law... What qualifies her for Potus...

She has less experience than Barack Obama. But I am sure that most Christian conservatives won't allow that to stop them from supporting her in spite of what they have said about Senator Obama's lack of experience.

    So?

By the way, John McCain has zero executive experience, as you stated.

I had been thinking that Senator Obama would win by about 6 points in the popular vote. With the Palin pick I think Obama wins by double digits. :)

Correct, but at least he studied law and has time on the hill...

But I will say this, she would have had my vote for Ms Alaska...

I think lawyers are overrated. I'd rather have a conservative person without law school than a lawyer who supports abortion on demand.

This is true. However, the Democratic ticket has no executive experience at all.

    Biden is a Washington insider.

Palin is about as far away from Washington as you can get.

THAT's change you can believe in.

Fine. I will concede the point that the Republican ticket has a grand total of 1 year of executive experience...in Alaska. :)

Wishful thinking Ken. This will drag all the wavering religious right back into the fold. And it might even drag me back in.

And Barack Obama has a few good speeches.

Palin has accomplished more in Alaska than Obama has accomplished.
