I would love to hear you address the issue of killing unborn babies instead of trying to sidetrack the issue with you opinions about the war in Iraq.

Do you support the killing of unborn babies?

If not, they why do you support a presidential candidate that does?

Two very simple questions (which I really don't expect any direct answers to).

It would not be hard. All you have to do is take Christ's teachings seriously and it is obvious he would not approve of either.

Apparently you have not read my other posts where I say I am against abortion.
You jump to conclusion. You do not know who I will vote for. In fact I am undecided. There are more issues than just abortion and unjust killing is one of them. But there are many. While I am against abortion I realize that there is very little a president or congress can do. It is in the hands of the Supreme Court and they are not about to overturn Roe v. Wade. I have gone into this in detail in other threads.

Funny how threads move along. One comment from the author of this thread...about shooting wolves from an airplane, would be an amazing feat. I didn't know that could be done.

Anyway, there is nothing wrong with hunting. The animals are under man's dominion. Good for food.

The "unjust war" charge is a false claim. It has been demonstrated time and time again in this forum that the war in Iraq is just because Saddam's Iraq broke the 1991 Cease-fire Agreement made between the US and Iraq, and the President sought and received Congressional approval to deploy the US Armed Forces in Iraq. The US Congress is a sole authority to give the Commander-in-Chief the green light to use our military forces. So please stop propogating the lie of the liberal left on this issue. Now can we please get back to the subject of shootin wolves?

If you try to maintain that all war is unjust you impugn God because He commanded war in the OT. If you think Jesus was an always turn the other cheek type of guy I suggest you read the Bible passages about His clearing of the Temple. If you think Jesus is against all war I suggest you read Rev. 19 and see what happens when He treads the winepress. If you want to seriously discuss this issue please start a new thread on the topic of war in the General Baptist Discussions Forum and stop driving this wolf shootin thread off-topic.

I think it would be a good hunt from an airplane using one of those .50 Cal sniper rifles with an infrared scope that shows the wolf's heat signature.

I gently suggest you do some research and reading on the theory of a just war. There is nothing in our going into Iraq that can be justified using the widely accepted theory of a just war. Don't confuse Congress giving permission with being a just war in a Christian context.

The "Just War Theory," is not a liberal idea, it is a Christian idea many centuries old.

Leave the wolves alone. They do not taste good and they are needed to help nature keep things in balance.

Whether or not the Iraq war is just is debatible.

Is there such a thing as a "just" abortion?

If not, wouldn't it be your duty as a Christian to do everything in your power to stop abortion then? Even if you think that it is unlikey that Roe v Wade would be overturned.

Why don't you start a thread instead of turning every thread you post on into an abortion thread. Seems like I remember a moderator who harps about this.

Get on topic. If you seriously want to talk about just war theory please start a thread on that topic in the General Baptist Discussions or the Baptist Theology and Bible Study Forum. I would enjoy debating that topic with you.

This thread has been seriously derailed a number of times and I have deleted personal attacks, so if people want to discuss the war in Iraq, etc., please start a new thread. For now, this thread is closed. And yes, I'm harping about it. :)
