    Hold the Phone!

Just Want, I'm just a semi-retired gunfighter and itinerant preacher, not a miracle producer!

    Thanks for the agreement, though.

    There is NO Question....

....that the devil has had his hand in the growth of liberal theology and doctrine! Everything else, like socialism, Marxism, etc., are at the center of his ability to deceive and delude the minds of the people of this world through the lies that are becoming more and more popular among those who, with good intentions, say they are religious folk!!

Paul said it best in Romans 1:21-25, actually 16-32, that God turned them over to their depraved minds BECAUSE they chose to BELIEVED THE LIES!

Satan is called the father of lies, and Paul joins John 8:44 with his teaching, when he brings his teaching in line with Joh's words that say lies come from Satan, and it was because of the belief in those lies that God turned them over to the lies!

    yes...

12 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Yes, I do, all three with this common element. All three take away from our duty to be the best servant we can be for the Lord, the best worker of our chosen occupation, and the best father, mother and spouse that God meant us to be.

All three of these have the gradual and deadly influence of dumbing us down from our dreams, and reaching our highest potential. It robs of us our desire, given to us by God, to be responsible for our actions and deeds. All three drain our desire to care for others more than ourselves and give honor and praise to the Lord, where all our abilities and desires come from.

All three are a poison. They make us lazy, self centered, unskilled at doing anything, arrogant, unholy, and basically, a collection of slobs. They take away pride in anything, that would include us as individuals, families, our nation, or our faith in Jesus Christ.

The final result of all three is an individual that has no will, mind or initiative to honor the Lord, his country, family, or any other aspect of life.

Our nation is about to become a collection of mindless robots expecting someone else to care for us. How else can one explain Obama being elected not once but twice?

Gee doesn't that guy [Z-man] know when to quit? We all know that sex outside marriage is sin. We all know that sex before marriage is sin! And we are ALL aware that intimate relations between same-gender members is an abomination!

Give this guy his own page, and get him off ours! He is so repetitive that his redundancy has gone far beyond the sublime, slipping off into the pit of insanity and lunacy, slowly reaching the place where we hear like-minded folks howling at the moon and raving like madmen. :BangHead:

You mean that area you keep trying to add that you don't seem to want to make applicable to the gluttons and the gossips and the immodest dressers who unrepentanlty keep doing what they do?

And I got news for you, you can't quote what doesn't exist and your version of Scripture doesn't exist except in this world where you've added to what Scripture ACTUALLY says.

you deny that Apostle paul calls homosexuality a perversion and unnatural, and that John said thast ANY claiming to have been saved by grace of Jesus needs ro forsake and stop practicing that kind of lifestyle?

Were they both wrong, and God gave you the right revelation then?

I agree with jesus/Paul?peter/John that if one is in a gay life style, commited to living that way regardless if i calim to have been saved by him, i have no fruit to evidence that I have indeed been saved!

now if that same person feels conviction, confesses and repents before the lord, and is seeking to come away and out of that lifestyle, THAT shows fruits!

You seem to say they can claim jesus, and yet still live just as before , is that your position?

    What EXACTLY have I added?

that IS the bible view, do you disagree with that?

    Pastor Paul,

I honesty think the disagreement in this thread is a communication problem, not a Scripture problem. These folks are really on the same page. Everyone here believes sex is meant for the opposite sex, in marriage only. Anything that varies from that is sin. Jesus also tells us we of the male gender especially have all committed this sin in our minds.

The disagreement I believe is making a homosexual sin a worse sin than the others. To me, it is certainly more disgusting, as that would be no temptation even as a lost person. In reality, it is a moot point in the eyes of God.

    I don't disagree, brother!

But every time I respond to a comment, I get preached to as to how I [like the others] AM MAKING THE SIN WORSE THAN OTHER sexual sins.

I have painstakingly tried to PM this person, as well as provide my opinions in a way that show I don't disagree with him, nor do I see one sin worse than another. However, if you try to state the obvious, that the sin is UNNATURAL when compared to the other forms of intimate sins, I get lectured.

That is why I say, "Enough is enough!" I have grown tired of being lumped into some group that seems to be only alive and well in this member's mind!

I appreciate your warm words, and I do not mean to offend you or the others, I have just grown tired of the same lecture, no matter where in this board, an opinion is made. And quite frankly, I'd love to see the moderators address this guy as he continues to be harshly judgemental of others on thos board, just for stating the obvious. It seems that he hates Baptists, and I can't go aong with that hateful undertone in the way and manner he addresses others as we as myself!

    God bless you SN!
