    This could have an impact.

I saw their full page ad in today's USA Today (pg. 5A):

    http://www.save-america-now.com/whereas.php

1 hour prime-time TV prayer meeting on 200+ TV stations with most well-known preachers. In addition they plan literature distribution to millions of people, and to 250,000 churches!!

There's the link to find out what day/time/station you may view it in your area.
It will be interesting to watch, although some of their choices in who will appear are a bit scary. (Creflo Dollar, etc.)

As long as they convince their "followers" to not vote for Kerry . . .

    ...Sigh...

I'm not suggesting that prayer isn't critical, but...

Whenever there is a project or a specific need to actually DO something to get things back on track, it's amazing how many become "prayer warriors".

If the sink leaks, you don't pray about it, you get out the wrenches.

Yeah, they walk around in circles and pray a few times, and expect walls to fall down because of it. There are NO biblical examples of that, how dare they! Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth is better. That way we can all be blind and live off of mashed foods.
(someone has to bring humor into politics this week, besides Kerry!) [IMG]

Well, I thought that opeining my post with a statement that I thought prayer is critical would be simple to understand. I guess not.

I'm not against these folks praying, of course. I'm glad that they do. But, I have to wonder, exactly what they will do about things? James talks about faith without works, and that is the part that I question.

    So, shoot me.
