Why no, I don't agree. All we're doing is giving these poor, oppressed and persecuted people a reason to think we don't love them—that God doesn't love them.

In fact, why aren't you seeking out a man to marry so that you can "be all things to all people that you may win some?" Or are you a HOMOPHOBE?!!!

    Hmmm?

I don't get this. They didn't make a resolution and withdraw their support of the GOP after they nominated a false god worshiper for President.

They didn't make a resolution and withdraw their support of network tv after they normalized heterosexual adultery and lust into the majority of their programming.

They didn't make a resolution and withdraw their support of the movie production houses that keep producing movies that take the Lord's name in vain.

So what's so special with the SBC and these homosexuals?

All baptist churches are independent so each can choose. Unless the SBC makes it mandatory to remain in the SBC such a resolution would be a waste of time. Personally I would not associate with any church that supports the BSA now that it has rejected its moral principles.

Resolutions are not binding on the churches, they are done by a vote of the majority, and they are done frequently. It is not a waste of time.

Bingo, you win the million dollar prize. Many questions on this board forget we are independent entities. Our church would not support the BSA under present circumstances.
