Psalm 113

Praise the Lord, you that are his servants,
praise the name of the Lord.
Blessed be the name of the Lord
now and evermore.
From the rising of the sun to its setting
may the Lord's name be praised!

High is the Lord above all nations,
high his glory above the heavens.
There is none like the Lord our God
in heaven or on earth,
who sets his throne so high
but deigns to look down so low;
who lifts the weak out of the dust
and raises the poor from the rubbish heap,
giving them a place among princes,
among the princes of his people;
who makes the woman in a childless house
a happy mother of children.

 

Hallelujah means "Praise the Lord." It's at the beginning of this Psalm, but I don't know why it's not at the end.You have good eyes.

A number of versions both old and new have "Praise the Lord." Or "Praise ye the Lord." in lieu of 'Hallelujah'.

115:3

Our God is high in heaven; he does whatever he wills.

v. 18 : Take the veil from my eyes, that I may see the wonders to be found in your law.

v. 89 : Your word is everlasting, Lord;
it is firmly fixed in heaven.

V. 105 : Your word is a lamb to my feet,
a light on my path.

v. 113 : I hate those who are not single-minded,
but I love your law.

v. 136 : My eyes stream with tears
because your law goes unheeded.

v. 162 : I am jubilant over your promise, like someone who finds much booty.

v. 163 : Falsehood I abhor and detest,
but I love your law.

v. 176 : I have strayed like a lost sheep; come, search for your servant,
for I have not forgotten your
commandments.

 

Psalm 135:6

Whatever the Lord wills,
that he does, in heaven and on earth,
in the sea and all the great deep.

 

From Psalm 139

Verse 6: Knowledge so wonderful is beyond my grasp; it is so lofty I cannot reach it.

Verses 23,24 : Examine me, God, and know my mind;test me and understand my anxious thoughts.
Watch lest I follow any path that grieves you;
lead me in the everlasting way.

 

Psalm 145:3;147:20 & 150:6

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness is beyond all searching out.

he has not done this for other nations, nor were his decrees made known to them.

Praise the Lord.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord.

 

Ones I Missed Along The Way

2:1-4 : Why are the nations in turmoil?
Why do the peoples hatch their futile plots?
Kings of the earth stand ready,
and princes conspire together
against the Lord and his annointed king.
'Let us break their fetters,' they cry,
'let us throw off their chains!'

 

5:5,6 : The arrogant will not stand in your presence;
you hate all evildoers,
you make an end of liars.
The Lord abhors those who are violent and deceitful.

7:11 : God is a just judge,
constant in his righteous anger.

78:39 : He remembered that they were but
mortal, a breath of air which passes by and does not return.

90:1,2 : Lord, you have been our refuge

103:19 : The Lord has established his throne
in heaven,his kingly power over the whole world.

104:24,25 : Countless are the things you have made,Lord; by your wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.
Here is the vast immeasurable sea,in which move
crawling things beyond number, living creatures great and small.

105:24,25 : There God made his people very fruitful, too numerous for their enemies,
whose hearts he turned to hatred of his people,
to double-dealing with his servants.

 

130:3,4 : If you, Lord, should keep account of sins,
who could hold his ground?
But with you is forgiveness, so that you may be revered.

139:21,22 : How I hate those who hate you, Lord!
I loathe those who defy you;
I hate them with undying hatred;
I reckon them my own enemies.

143:6 : athirst for you like thirsty land,
I lift my outspread hands to you.

145:20 :The Lord watches over all who love him,
but the wicked he will utterly destroy.

147:3 : It is he who heals the broken in spirit
and binds up their wounds.
