I would say that the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officials
think they are above the law.

Have you thought about the possibility that if these kids faces are plastered all over the media it just could put their parents and siblings lives at risk in their home country ... as well as their own lives at risk if they are sent back?

I don't thing the real reason is the pictures - I think it was more of an excuse. The problem is that the dept is not giving the full story.

However, do you have no concern about the welfare of these kids ... either here or back in their home countries?

Of course I do - the problem is that liberals are using the kids as pawns right now. According to this source - there are 1.8 billion children age 14 and under.

Liberals say we are not to be the policemen of the world. Likewise, we can not be the babysitters of the world.

It is a shame the lives these kids have had, but there are better solutions.

The US has spend 30 billion dollars on humanitarian assistance in 2011.

What is your concern about them? How can your concern be addressed and the kids kept safe?

Seems like the liberals would be beside themselves not being allowed to take pictures and videos so they could exploit this situation even more.

If I were a liberal I'd be wondering why the feds aren't allowing this to happen.

Surely you must be wondering why the feds aren't feeding the media a passel of heart wrenching videos and sound bites to exploit the "crisis" Crabby.

What's going on here? Not even the corporate media vultures are being allowed access.
