    I had an old preacher tell me once "speak truth, people will always do what they want". If they want to please the Lord they know what they need to do and will do it but if they want to please themselves they will do what they want and reason their deceived heart why it is right. Simple choice, self sacrifice or self gratification.

    I'm just wondering if "Jacob" is a pseudonym for Evangelist6589

    I am glad that I am not so cynical to be the only one questioning this.

    Well..

    The person met with another pastor at another church today whom gave the exact opposite counsel and said separation without Biblical cause to be Unbiblical. He was also advised not to attend that church.

    Everyone here with a brain is asking the same question and I think we all know the answer.

    You?
    I will now give you an official warning that demerits will be issued for an improper usage of whom. You know who you are.

    "Who" is a subjective pronoun. "Whom" is in the objective case. "Who" is always subject to a verb. "Whom" always works as an object in a sentence.

    I have a friend who is a teacher.

    I have a friend whom I would wholeheartedly recommend for the teaching position.

    He = who
    Him = whom

    Just stick with "who" every time, Evan, and you will be good. "Whom" is more and more considered formal, so you will not sound weird if you just remove "whom" from your vocabulary. I hope this helps.

    Was the other pastor that "the person" met with a pastor of a reformed church?

    Methinks that grammar is the least of E's problems right now.

    Grammar affects how we are viewed. I knew a woman who did the same thing Evan is doing but with "me" and "I". Eg "Me am glad to see you." He can't help his cousin, but maybe he can improve his grammar. If Jacob is Evan then he needs help that this forum can't provide. Either way he can fix the "whom" issue and at least take something from this thread.

    Does anyone find it interesting that the OP has never denied the statement made in post # 42?

    I suspect "most" is one less than accurate.

    Really? "Whom" do you think you are to correct spelling or grammar? This is a fine example of the pot calling the kettle black.
