shift key

    my shift key is not working. if i want to use caps, i have to use the cap locks - any suggestion.


    In addition, i am unable to type in the sybmols above the numbers. for example, if i want the number symbol - even if i hit cap lock, it will still will only show 3

    You should have two 'shift' keys. If they aren't working, get a new keyboard. :type:

    Neither one worked -
    BUT
    I turned off Charlie (I named my computer) waited a bit -turned it back on - and now the shift key works!

    BTW - Charlie has yet to celebrate her first birthday.

    Oh, well

    A shiftless computer, they say computers mimic their owners :wavey: NOT!!

    Rebooting will cure many many problems in computers. Mine is near new and every now and then it lets me know who's boss. :thumbs:
