Should a church have a political conference on church grounds?

    I believe that too...however a building is not the "church"...the people inside the building are. Buildings are not sanctified, people are. Whether the conference takes place inside a building where the "church" meets, in the park, or in outer space...the people are the church.

    What I said has nothing to do with the building itself; I realize the building is not sanctified and never said it was nor have I ever thought this. But what the building as the locale of the local church represents does count. The conference could be held somewhere else, and even then, I would not behind a church sponsoring such an event. This is all about humanism and not about Jesus Christ because Christ is not the focus of this at all. Man's efforts without Christ are for nothing.
