    Why would I ever disagree with that. I am disagreeing with the profanity that some of the newer paraphrases use.

    The fact that the thread was moved from Other Religions/doctrines to a Baptist Only thread shows that someone, (whoever moved the thread) can't handle the topic!

    Who moved the thread and why?

    God appears to be more comfortable with graphic language than some of you on this forum.

    The language of Ezekiel is shocking! Yet God inspired it.

    Would you read this passage for Scripture reading in church?

    Also, could we please move this thread back to Other Relgions/Doctrines?

    After an attack from you, why would the person who moved the topic in the first place want to move it back? How do you KNOW that they can't handle the topic? Do you know their reasons for moving it? You attack, then you question why they moved it. I've been here for a long time and I find the moderators for the most part quite responsible.

    You're right Paul. We evil moderators secretly plotted to move the thread and pretend we didn't do it, causing you the severe inconvenience of having to look up two inches higher to post on it in the versions topic instead of the other religions one.

    The thread is "Should the Bible be Censored."
    I don't find the graphic phrase "Grow up" in the KJV. Perhaps it is because it's too demeaning. Can you give me a chapter and verse please.

    You move threads or delete threads because you don't like the content. And then you get upset when it is pointed out to you. But it is ok for Gina L. to be sarcastic.

    Paul, I thought that Gina's post was well worded, and her sarcasm light and humorous; not demeaning in any way. On the other hand your imperative command for her to grow up was quite demeaning.
    As for the record I did not move the thread, nor did I delete anything on this thread.
    But it only took me five minutes to find out where it was. As I scan through the four pages that are here I find that other than the couple of posts that you made on page one, when you started this thread, and the few complaining posts that you just made, you have contributed precious little to this entire topic. So what are you complaining about?
    Read the last three pages. Most of the discussion has been between myself and Moique, even though you had ample opportunity to jump in at any time. So what are you complaining about. You are complaining about something that you seemingly have no interest in at all. Some people only post in order to complain. If that is your purpose, why not find another board to do so.

    Someone who posted on this thread, couldn't find it and emailed me. I couldn't find it either. I didn't say anything for a few days, and then emailed Gina L.

    She found it and told me where to look. So her most recent post was unnecessary, though humorous to you. That's why I haven't posted recently.

    Yeah, grow up is pretty stern stuff.

    Why are you attempting to judge my motives when you don't know what they are?

    Why are you jumping to conclusions?

    If you move a thread and I can't find it, I can't post, can I?

    You seem a little touchy, eh?

    BTW, I had another moderator call me a "blasphemer" because we disagreed on how to translate a word from Greek. You might want to talk to your moderators and tell them to "grow up."

    I just realized that you are flying the Canadian flag. I don't want you to think that I'm making fun of Canadians when I say "eh."

    My dad was from Canada and I grew up near the border. So when I say "eh?", I'm being me, not taking a swipe at Canadians. [​IMG]

    I am pointing out to you your complaining about a thread that you don't seem to be interested in. Most of the discussion of this topic took place between Moique and I, while it was yet in this forum. not in the Bible Versions forum.

    [ (open bracket) B ] (close bracket); [ (open bracket) / (forward slash) B ] (close bracket)
    with the text in between.

    My intent with my post was not to upset you, but to hopefully lighten up the situation as you seemed to be taking such a small thing far too seriously.

    BTW all you have to do is click on the UBB Code at the side of where you post and it'll tell you how to do all the cool stuff. Or if you use the full reply form you can simply click on the code and it does it for you.
