That's plain silly! I'm getting married in January. I'm going to wear a wedding wring. If it's a sin, then may I sin boldly. If someone wants to judge me because of a piece of metal on my finger, they can kiss my dog's tail.

I think that Blind Freddy can see that this post is intended for those that oppose Easter and Christmas, hence I would encourage people not to be to fussed over it. Yet on the other hand if you do not celebrate Christmas or Easter because they have Pagan origins, do you likewise not wear Wedding RIngs?

The origin of customs has little to do with the value they can have in our lives today when our lives are lived to the honor and glory of our Savior.

    Paul33, you forgot
Vacation Bible School Month = June!

Hubby has NEVER gone one day without his wedding ring. He has one in gold and one in silver to match his watch. We got gold bands for our 25th anniversary. I no longer have my silver one. I went from 89 lbs to a few pounds more than that in the last 34 years so from size 5 to size 6 (rings).

Paul, it's worse than you think:

    January -- Janus's month
    February -- month of Februa
    March -- Mars' month
    April -- Aphrodite's month
    May -- Maia's month
    June -- Juno's month
    July -- Julius Caesar's month
    August -- Augustus Caesar's month
    September -- the seventh month
    October -- the eighth month
    November -- the nineth month
    December -- the tenth month
