Meh, that's an asinine reply and you know it. Submit to your husband and get off a forum, you heathen.

I got better things to do, than argue with trolls and Mobys.

I see you don't have an answer to what is the Biblical way to become a pastor.

    Wonderful!!! Heathen?

So many people looking for a reason to leave a church these days.

Ann, you're solid, pay no attention to this and be you in Christ here.

    - Peace

    To the original post:
Are you going to church for you or are you going to church to worship Him and become more like Him?

No need for a gender attack. It's prattle.

All of us who read you, Don, know that! And I love your wording - especially the "general stupidity" part.

What an odd thread this has turned out to be. I'm sure it's all Ann's fault ;)

In this instance, it's well warranted. He has no business telling anyone else to "get off the BB". He only wants answers that are what he wants to hear and any other opinion is....oh yes, prattle, borrowing your nice word.

    1) I'm pretty sure her husband has no problem with her posting here.

    2) You have no basis to call anyone a heathen, and your foul attitude doesn't help matters.

    3) You didn't answer the question.

    4) If anyone is trolling the forum, you are. I don't usually say that post count matters all that much, but on the accusation of trolling, it's relevant. Annsni has been a respected member of this forum for quite some time. No reasonable person would consider her a troll.

This isn't the first time you've dragged gender into the conversation (male gender) and attacked this gender altogether for nought. It's beginning to look asif you simply have a problem with male gender, as you've attacked this in particular in the past when it is not even an issue at hand.

It's not necessary nor was it, nor is it justifiable in doing so.

You seem to be the only person who has a problem with my calling him out for his rudeness. I don't have a problem with men, I rather like them. I DO, however, have a LARGE problem with rude people, men included especially. Men have lost their ability, on a large part, to treat women with courtesy and respect. Evidently I should, perhaps, include you in that group? You seem to be attacking me, where I do not deserve it, and evidently have a problem with me. If that's so I invite you to say so, and what the problem is. I'd be happy to address is. Be specific, please.

Oh this issue, I simply called Fundy Pat out on his rudeness to Annsi, which he rightly deserved. I didn't notice you berating anyone else here who has supported her right to be on this BB and speaking her mind. Guess your issue is just with me.

OHHHHH!!!! I get it now. Since most Pats are girls, I was thinking you were a woman the whole time.

Probably, since she's not submitting to her husband and speaking to men.

I have a problem with your statement as well. You said:

Why does the word "male" need to be in there? Would it have been OK with you if a female made the statements he did? I have no problem with you dressing down FundyPat. He's acting like a fool and needs it, but there's no need to drag the entire "male"" group into this. Specifying "male" brings you down to FundyPat's level.

Moderators, Please, close this. I never intended this to descend into infighting.

I made a decision about the Church.

    I won't discuss it here.

    Thank You,

    -Pat

You might want to take this time and repent of your earlier post (http://www.baptistboard.com/showpost.php?p=1744345&postcount=21) and make a public apology. IMO, a public apology is warranted because your attacks were public.

    Exactly.

...it wasn't that she called him out for his rudeness that I had a problem with. It looks to me that it turned into an attack on his being male. As I said, this isn't the first incident for this attack on gender.

    Thanks matt.
