I'm noticing recently that my signature is not showing with posts even though I'm checking the box for it to.

Are signatures no longer allowed or something?

I don't appreciate that. I was a member here 8 years before you were even here. I've certainly contributed to the conversation and am well within the rules to have links in my signature.

Why is there a link for "Christian Singles" in your signature line?? Are you hunting or advertising?

Wow...you joined the forum before me. That certainly gives you the right to advertise in your signature, right?

Actually, no it doesn't The rules of this forum specifically say:

Signatures are not to be used for advertising purposes. You are welcome to target BaptistBoard with Ads using Google adsense or show your support by purchasing a text link either at the top or bottom of the website.

So, just so that I understand, the links in the signature of SBCPREACHER on this thread, how are they not advertising? I'm not asking that sarcastically, I'm just trying to figure out what's considered advertising and what's not.

    Thanks.

Are SBCPreacher's "ads" money making ventures? One is a church website. The other is a blog or something.
