This is a great site. It is showing episodes about how Christians are being silenced in USA. It also talks about what we can do. The first episode was great!

I could give you more info, but it would be better if you took the time to go to the site yourself.

With multiple channels of Christian TV, Christian radio in every city and most small towns, churches on every corner, etc.; it seems to me to claim some silencing of Christians smacks of a persecution complex. Of course, AFA is good at promoting that false idea.

I mean no offense to anyone, but I have a hard time taking seriously anything that Ann Coulter is involved in. Or Michael Moore.

Christians can only be silenced as they let themselves be silenced. They tried silencing Daniel but they could not.

What I see across the nation is not so much of a silence but the Christians as complacent and complaining about the world rather than being strong and sharing their faith.

Christians are today maintaining that the government should do the work that the early Christians did themselves with much hardship and bloodshed.

Since I'm one of those ignorant red-necks that believes the Bible IS the Word of God, and basically believe that it's to be interpreted literally, I fail to see just what "the work" is.

    Please expound a bit further.

    Thanks!

So you would interpret Isaiah 40:31 literally?

Isaiah 40:31, "Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. "

Have you gotten your wings yet?

Sometime when you get a chance do a study on figures of speech.

I agree with the above comments about the multiplicity of outlets for Christians in our society.

Maybe we should be silenced. Maybe we should not speak sometimes.

I was studying 1 Peter 2 today and noticed the overwhelming emphasis on allowing our actions to demonstrate our holiness so we can gain legitimatization to share with those who need to hear.

Evangelicals have talked too much and we have lost our voice in the malaise of culture. Sometimes the best voice is the quiet one next to you as you suffer.

Just my $.02 please keep the change...:D

We should be spending our time talking to God about others before we spend our time talking to people about God.
