How "sloppy" a word is wimp, anyway? Merriam Webster defines it as "a weak, cowardly, or ineffectual person." That lacks a bit of precision as compared, for instance, to diabetic. To divert the issue to the proper use of a word that that is quite indefinite, along with its synonyms-- wuss, sissy, pushover, doormat, et al-- is an evasion.

 

And rather defensive. Very odd.

 

So they are ignorant also of the meaning of the word.

 

You are correct in our citing of the definition. Note there is no mention of testosterone level involved in the definition.

 

Salty, I've never known or met a white lightning drinker that I would call a wimp ... and anyone who does probably should think about their health before doing so. Now some of these old boys might not have been, shall we say, doing a lot of women chasing, but being a wimp? Oh no. :laugh:

You know a word either means what it means else there is no meaning in any word. Why we could use that argument in scripture and some do and prove anything they want by the misuse of words ... as well as other techniques of deception.

 

Maybe the statistical data is flawed--kind of like global warming, aka climate change. Sometimes the makers of male hormone tablets are trying to increase their profit margins.

The advent of the PC may have an affect on male behavior.

I do but I believe it is because of the loss of a real work ethic.

 

Some men are wimps, most are not. I do not think it has to do with testosterone levels. It has to do with character, beliefs, bravery, ethics, standing up for what one believes is right, self-sacrifice, being willing to stand up and be counted.

From what I have read testosterone levels are dropping. There are a variety of reasons for this.

Also testosterone levels drop with age. Does this mean that all men become wimps with age. No it doesn't in my opinion.



Testosterone levels drop after a man has children.

Are all fathers wimps. Don't think so.

So it is obvious that testosterone levels do not play a part in whether a man is a wimp or not.


I have also read that over the years men's sperm count has become lower. There are known factors as to why this happens. Read:
