    So now people are writing and singing hymns to Obama. Maybe he is (if not the Antichrist then) the practice run for the Antichrist.

    That was TOTALLY scary.

    And here is one of the comments left by someone on the site:

    After 8 years of W.bush we need a saviour! lmao

    Pretty much says it all.

    Come on, folks. Campaign songs have been a staple of American politics for a long time. Two that I remember were in a race for Texas governor back in 1968.

    One for John Hill started out with: "John Hill will be governor of Texas 'cause the people say he will..." I don't remember the rest except that it ended with "John Hill will."

    The other was for Eugene Locke that simply said: "Eugene Locke will be governor of Texas, the governor of Texas will be Eugene Locke".

    :)

    I wonder if some people would react the same way about a song praising the candidacy of John McCain.

    I like it better than the McCain one you found - but, saying that. A better production of that might have been nice as well.

    I like it better than that one but it set such a low standard it would be really hard to be worse.

    This one is slightly better... :thumbs:
