Featured Sins We Overlook

I had no idea that luck was involved in any way concerning where one worships. If you do not like the topic, "Sins People Overlook," you have four choices.

3. Say something constructive for a change

First of all, whiskey is not a sin. It is a beverage. Drinking it and becoming drunk is a sin. A potluck is not a sin. A four hundred pound person sitting down to a pot luck and stuffing your mouth so fast you cannot talk, but attempt to tell about someone who got drunk is gossip and gluttony in one act is a sin. I guess that is sin multitasking.

As I said in an above post, I don't drink because I learned long before I was saved I drank in a manner that ruins lives, not Baptist doctrine. It sounds like you have been in churches that addressed these sins, but the ones I have served in and visited did not. It always revolves drinking, dancing, and lottery tickets.
