Charles H. Spurgeon was in a lot of physical pain especially in the last decade or so of his oral ministry . He used to prop one of his knees on a cushioned stool . He probably alternated knees . C.H.S. could not stand upright for the length of an entire sermon . Robert Hall Jr. had to put his body into wierd contortions behind the pulpit in order to deliver his messages . I imagine there are a number of men who are physically disabled , yet still gifted by the Lord to preach . Do any of you know men who sit to preach ? Don't tell me : "I wouldn't stand for it !"
