I love the organ. Nothing says Church music to me than the sound of the organ.

We recently celebrated the homegoing of one of the Mothers of the Church. She went home at 83. She could play a course of Amazing Grace and not leave a dry eye in the sanctuary. Arthritist got to her hands and shoulder so she didn't play much her last 10 to 15 years but the last Sunday before she went home, she came down and really made that organ talk...

Guitar, mandolin, banjo, & bass fiddle. I play strictly acoustic music, no wires or plugs.

I play piano - and give private lessons to children. I sing alto and tenor in various groups at church, have relative pitch, sight read like a champ, and am a very good accompanist, people used to hunt me down in college the day of a jury to accompany them on some aria. Not bragging, just reminiscing! Nobody wants an old musician, it seems.

I played oboe for 15 years through school, and flute during marching band years. I have attempted to play acoustic guitar, and am still a beginner, even though my guitar accomplished husband tries to teach me, I am struggling with strumming anything but one simple rhythm. My husband John is the king of the bass guitar in the Four Corners area, by the way

Primarily a vocalist, but play keyboards and a little basic piano. ALso, Tuba, trombone, french horn, trumpet, and baritone. Oh, and I have a melodica, and play it some as well.

I can twang a juice harp. I also twang a guitar a bit. I used to twang the saxophone in junior high and the viola before that, but I've given them up long since.

One of my sailor buddies had one of them harps, and I saw another sailor ask to try it, and he lost half of one of his front teeth on the first note he played.

I decided not to try it.

Sometimes you gotta risk it all for the sake of art.

Double Bass (String Bass to you folks in America) was my first instrument at Music College. Way back in 1972 I came to America as a bass player with the Essex Youth Orchestra (that's Essex, the English county). I also learned piano, clarinet, BBb bass tuba and violin.

My only playing now is the electronic keyboard we use to accompany the hymns at church.

piano, flute, and play at a few other instruments. Got a masters in vocal performance, but my true passion is choral conducting and composition. Would love to go back for a doctorate.

I can't stand an unfinished joke!

If it had been invented anywhere else, it would have been called the TEETH brush!

I "play" bass, and I can do power chords on a guitar, and I can kinda keep a beat on drums. I've gotten so used to the bass that I can barely fret a guitar anymore, but I've play so many Ramones songs, I can barely do anything but downstroke, because I forgot how I used to play the bass. Never took any lessons either.

Playing bass, guitar, drums, etc is like throwing a baseball, the more you do it, the easier it gets and the better you are at it.

But out of all that, I'm definatly "best" at bass, and that's not saying much at all, but if I started a band right this second, I'd be the bass player.
