I was in a worship service in California on Sunday, January 8th. They wasted 20 minutes on a "praise band and singers" singing that tripe, this egotistical tripe. There was no theology. There was no logical connection between many lines. There was repeation over and over and over and over ad nausem.

    The entire service comprised:
    • the praise band
    • the sermon
    • an offering
There was no congregational singing. There was no congregational participation. There was no request for prayers. There was no bulletin with an order of service. No hymns, no public prayer ... not anything meaningful. Even the sermon had no depth, just an explanation or a repeating of the scripture he read during his sermon.

It was depressing and they probably wonder why their church is dying.
