I am part of an independent film company in Orlando, and we have just finished production on a feature. It is a modern day film dealing with how one woman copes when her husband leaves the family for another man. It also deals with the guilt and pain this man feels over his decision. It is a true to life story about the inner turmoil of a Christian turning away from God, and God's unending forgiveness and love. Most importantly, it has the salvation message. You can learn more about the movie at Sodom and Gomorrah The Movie .

The site also contains a message board where non-christians and christians are debating why God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Right now the non-christians are outnumbering the christians, but, Lord-willing, that will soon change.

Good luck with your movie! Looks like a hate monger has already attacked your discussion board.

I question the original premise for this film. To try and extract righteousness from a movie dealing with a homosexual man leaving his family, to me is wrong for Christians to be involved with. I'm sorry Filmproducer but that's my take on it. The goal of this film is what? Inadvertantly, or not, the thrust probably is to allow homosexuality to further intrude into our Christian heritage culture.

People said the same thing about Mel Gibson when he made the "Passion of the Christ". It is too violent and Christians should not watch it. The bible I read is not sugar coated. There are a lot of things in it about the same ills that plague our society today. The impact of Chrisitans will always be lessened because we don't band together. We argue over things like, should a woman wear pants or not, or if drums should be used in the music ministry. It is our inherent nature to prejudge, stereotype, and condemn people and things that we don't fully understand, just the way you have done this film. We feel that the Gospel will be spread with this film and that is our purpose.
