Last week a deputy sheriff was shot to death at a stakeout.
In addition, at the time of the shooting, his wife was in labor at the local hospital.

The funeral was on Tuesday and covered two major TV markets which included some 5 or 6 TV stations, not to mention radio.

Instead of each station having a news team, the President of the Syracuse Press Club had a better ideal

Here is a two minute clip of the funeral

    - one other item, Deputy Wyman was the youth worker at Clinton Road Baptist Church (now CrossPoint) (near Utica, NY)

He was also a corporal in the United States Marine Corp Reserve. He had come back from a combat tour about a year ago.

and please keep his wife in prayer during this time of morning.
