When the disciples said: "Lord increase my faith," were they saying, "Lord increase my workload"?

It is a question. Are you able to answer it?

Silly/foolish question, and Faith is a work of the Law that ought to be done Matt 23:23

23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

SBM - I really do appreciate the effort you are putting into ignoring the breakdown you have been provided of that verse that shows Faith is not a work.

Does your theological system hold to Biblical inerrancy?
If so, then you have to admit that FAITH is not a work. We've pointed to Ephesians countless times to prove this to you. If you continue to say FAITH is a work then, in essence, you are saying that man is saved by works, which is not truth, per the Bible itself.

Obviously not; they asked Jesus to increase their believing --- to improve their act coming from the faith of Jesus given them without works.

The Gospel is not textbook arithmetic.

The supreme irony here is that regardless if you hold to us having natural faith, or that faith comes as a gift from God towards us, either way, we MUST place faith unto Jesus in order to receive salvation!

So SBM is caught between both cals and Non Cals on this issue!

No, you set up a trap and walked into it yourself. You harnessed your cart before your unbridled horse. The first thing it is going to do, is to get away.

When two opinions clash it does not mean one must be right.
