No but the prophecy would be performed by this first type of prophet the forteller or the one who gives new revelation

Two types I understand but the prophecy that would end was the type from the prophet I spoke of not the second type.

I don't believe Paul was telling people that their practice of foreseeing (e.g., if aunt Chava would finally meet the man of her dreams) would end when the perfect comes. Where I disagree with TC is that I think the arrival of that revelation which makes such gifts unnecessary is not necessarily the canon of Scripture (but it is revelation). But I can't even get you in the same ball field.

Let's try this....Read Ezekiel 36. Read Zechariah 8. Read Hosea 2. Read of John the Baptist. Then think this through one more time.

    Please research it for yourself.
I know what the truth is.
The onus is on you to find it out for yourself.
I.E. Teaching you the truth does no good,
so you're on your own ... you are responsible.

I know very few yet most I have heard are those who want to practice those temporary gifts. Now name one prophet in the age we live and what prophecy he has added to scripture. I looked and found none. If that gift ended the others did also.

Seems thou is lookin' in all the wrong places!

    I'll name one: my wife.
On the 3/4 hour drive to church ...
God used to tell her what to say to the congregation of 500.
This message from the Lord to the church was a corporate one
... stuff about the church in general ... this is an example of
being led by the Spirit (ever heard of Romans 8:14?).

Some of you here MIGHT just decide it's time to wake up
and get with God's program (instead of the doctrines of men),
which originally come from Satan ...
    "the god/ruler of this world/age" (John 12:31, 2 Cor 4:3).
These refs are off the top of my head, hope they're accurate.

No. That is not how the forum works. You made the claim in post #50. Now it is your responsibility to either back up the claim or retract it.
Then tell us. Post the proof.
Wrong. You made the claim, you back it up or withdraw it.
As you have not, as yet, posted any truth, that statement is unsupported. It could also be construed to be a personal attack. Walk softly.
No. You made the claim, you back it up. If not, admit you were talking through your hat and withdraw the false claim.

Thou just does NOT understand that there are some extremely
spiritual pentecostal/charismatic churches (even in America),
which DO put Scripture ahead of absolutely everything,
including the 9 spiritual power gifts of 1 Cor 12.
EVERYTHING coming from these spiritual gifts
MUST line up (agree with) the inerrant written word.

Now, you can have fun arguing with this revelation:
No matter how accurate (or inaccurate)
the word we hold in our hands is,
the Lord wants us to believe ALL of it.
After all, it's all we have, isn't it?

Is this truth also beyond you?

If she was teaching men then she was violating God's order for Spiritual things, Paul made that clear, 2 Timothy 11:
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

God should have given anything for the whole church to a man not a woman, for she is not to teach men, not to snatch authority away from a man why because in God's order of things He created Adam first that is He gave man authority over Spiritual things to be head of the Family, and the Church especially in teaching. The problem with many churches today is that the men are either too timid to step up or there are no men in the church. Now can a woman teach in church, you bet, she can teach children and women. Now the question is when it comes to music can she lead music? That take a song and lead it as t he congregation worships? I believe she can she just cannot teach men in S.S. or be a pastor.

Who would care to take a shot at explaining 1 John 4:1-3 (NKJV)?

1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,
3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist,
which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

What's to explain? That is very clear and should need no explanation to a mature Christian.

To my knowledge, nothing in the NT is obsolete for us today,
not even things like instructions to slaves and their masters!
You just might want to consider this.

Please explain in one very short sentence what the bold is saying.
I'm curious to see where you're coming from.

A prophecy can easily be confirming other statements
from God or man, so it doesn't always need to be new.

Everyone who has a true profession of faith, is of God that is they are saved. Everyone who does not truly confess Christ is not of God.but is against Christ. Many make a false confession they are arenas those who say Lord l did this or that in your name and He says depart from me I NEVER KNEW you. They had never been saved and yet confessed Him.

The prophecy on which Paul was speaking of would be new prophecy. Once the book of The Revelation (Prophecy) of Jesus the Christ was completed by the scribe John, and given to the church not one new Revelation not one new book of Prophecy has been added to scripture.
