Piper is somewhat a continuist. I believe I'm too.

I was on a blog recently that showed the PCA is one of the fastest growing denominations - and they don't count absentee memebers either. If I can find that blog again I will post the link. I visited a PCA church a couple of months ago and I really liked it. They made it clear that I was welcome to join their church I wouldn't be allowed to teach because of my views on believer's baptism. They sang hymns, took up an offering, and had preaching, and closed with a prayer. Much like a Baptist Church. Not formal at all, but very orderly. The sermon was thoroughly biblical. The people were friendly. A good snapshot of what a church should be.

So do they consider a conference difference than a church setting?

For example, at Together for the Gospel Ligon Duncan and Sproul shared a platform with Baptists pastors.

I can't answer for them but I assume they consider it different. Aside to that, is Sproul PCA? I think he's presby but not PCA.

Yes, Sproul Sr. is PCA and has been for many years (and may have been from its inception in 1973 - but I don't know that for sure).

I think you're right about Sproul.

    I really don't see a difference though.

But I remember Piper said in a sermon that pedobaptists would be allowed to teach at his church, but Sproul has been featured in his conference.

Perhaps they view the whole thing differently.

Interesting. I haven't listened to that one yet. I'll have to do that soon.
