Your explanation of Ephesians 2:1-10 is what is called eisegesis and you cannot even do a consistent job of that.

In the passage 2:4-6 you highlight the words it is through grace that you have been saved. In a later paragraph you state: You'll notice there is no "Saving Grace" here, Only the 'plain jane' variety of God's Grace. By the way, isn't it sacrilegious to call God's Grace "plain jane" variety?

If it is by Grace we are saved that is by definition Saving Grace. Also note that verses 2:4-6 of this passage we are told: God, being rich in faithful love, through the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our sins, brought us to life with Christ.. There has been no mention of Faith yet Scripture tells us that even when we were dead God made us alive. No action on our part is mentioned or required, it is all the work of God. Having been made spiritually alive [born again] we are given the faith by which we can respond to the Gospel call.

As far as false accusations you are the only one in this discussion that has used false accusations and then when those did not suffice you resorted to name calling and questioning ones salvation until rebuked by the moderator. SAD! [IMG]

The whole point is this OldRegular, GRACE DOES NOT SAVE!

The person having the grace saves, and he does so while he is in his Grace mode! And He only does that for those who have faith in him!

It really is sad that you cannot read!
