This is the kind of junk that is pushing people towards Trump, Carson, and Cruz.

Was it two years ago, or four, when Ryan, as chairman of the House budget committee laid out a budget with some real cuts in it, so much so that Dems made a commercial showing a guy that looked a lot like Ryan pushing granny off a cliff. Must have been 4 years ago.

Now that he's speaker he's compromising, or is he simply finishing up what Boehner had started?

    Big disappointment. Practically a betrayal.

I have to wonder what the motivation behind this betrayal was. Who bought him off?

“By the time you get through this bill, every special interest will have been paid off,” said Caddell. “Everyone will have done what they wanted to do. The Republicans … will have sold everything out to please the oil companies”. Caddell also chastised Republican presidential candidates for not saying anything about it in the recent debate. expressing his frustration that the issue doesn’t seem to be being addressed by any candidates, Caddell said.

“If Donald Trump wants to seal his victory, all he has to do is stand up and attack McConnell and Ryan and what they’ve just done.”

Caddell also blasted the GOP saying, “They think their base is stupid.” The entire Breitbart News Daily interview can be heard below.

Debate topic was about national security, not economic issues.

They all better be talking about it tomorrow.

The Big Money Behind Paul Ryan's Political Career

As he ascended the ranks, his construction backers gave way to large financial groups such as Credit Suisse Group, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers, and the American Bankers Association. After becoming the top Republican on the powerful Budget Committee in 2007, when Ryan's budget plans became more widely known, insurance and healthcare groups became a substantial new source of political cash. Thus far in the 2012 cycle, all but eight of Ryan's 20 biggest backers are in the financial, insurance, or health sectors, CRP data shows. Most are financial groups like Elliott Management, the hedge fund that's also a big giver to Romney's campaign. Other familiar companies like Goldman Sachs and UBS are also big contributors to Ryan, who frequently criticizes the Dodd-Frank Act that regulates Wall Street and voted for the TARP bill that bailed out Wall Street banks.

    Did anybody expect anything different.

Ryan is just another in a long line of gutless republican "leaders".

Emanuel - one very disgusting human being IMO. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see the 'Chicago Cabal' try to ram him down our throats. They did it subtlety to an unsuspecting populace with Obama, they'll have to be right out in the open, for all to see, with that jerk of all jerks come 2020 or 2024.
