    Why not...he hasn't much of a chance of winning anything in the SEC coaching at South Carolina; a mid level SEC team will tend to stay a mid level SEC team in the SEC.
    Now in the ACC, it is becoming anyone's ball game since FSU and Miami have falling over the edge. Case in point...Wake Forest last year.

    They aren't trying to hire Steve but are asking for his input. "Alleva said he planned to consult with Spurrier during his search for a replacement for Roof"
