March 17, 1957 is the day God's Spirit regenerated my heart and gave me the great gifts of repentance and faith. With a godly sorrow for my sin and in simple child-like faith, I knelt down beside my bed, with my mother on one side and my sister on the other, and cried to Jesus for foregiveness and believed in Him as my personal Lord and Savior.

I was born again! And never, ever been sorry of that choice. Never!

That's so sweet, Dr. Bob! My parents didn't write down the day I was saved because they felt I was too young to understand and wouldn't let me make my profession of faith public for a few months. I bugged them until the gave in. I do know it was VBS in 1959 tho. I was 8 years old and Dr. Bob Barker led me to the Lord.

    Happy Born Again Day!

March 17, 1957, I wasn't even a thought. Next year on this fine day may we all wear tuxedo jackets and green bowties. [IMG]
