    A few days ago, I was reminiscing over the water cooler about Christmas Specials on TV, and someone mentioned the 1978 "Star Wars Holiday Special". My goodness! I thought for sure I had properly been brainwashed enough to forget about it, as it was absolutely terrible!!!

    Does anyone else remember it?

    Thank God for selective alzheimers. Don't recall a thing about it, even though my kids (born in 73/75) were Star Wars nuts.

    Son Josh (GARBC pastor in Michigan for 6 years) owns and runs theforce.net which is the largest Star Wars fan site. I'll ask him when he flies in for Christmas!

    Oh dear, well you'll be happy to know that George Lucas avoids the topic at all costs. HE was apparantly quite embarrased at how bad it was (he played no part in the production of it, being busy with TESB which was in preproduction at the time).
