During the State of the Union, Obama made it abundantly clear Congress and the American people are irrelevant. Early on in the address, Obama threatened to rule by supreme diktat. “Whenever and wherever I can take steps without legislation to expand opportunity for more American families, that is what I am going to do,” he said, trashing the principles of constitutional government.

“I’ll act on my own,” he declared.

Yes, this guy makes President Nixon look like a benevolent President. I can remember back during those days every day he was hammered by the press until the press got their trophy. I do not see the press going after Obama like a rapid dog.

That's because they're both controlled by the same global banksters and multinational corporations.

Why do you think the press gives Obama a pass while they went after Nixon at every opportunity? All three, the press, Obama, and Nixon were to a degree controlled by the banksters and corporations, so why the difference?

My mother, who has a home on our farm, is an avid Obamunist. She got really mad at me the other day for pointing out that when he says he's going to bypass Congress, what he's really saying is that he has no regard for the Constitution and the means it has established for passing legislation, or its limits on his presidential authority.

There are several examples of executive power in the Constitution, like executive orders and recess appointments and others. They seem to me to be very limited in scope. For example, Obama raising the minimum wage to $10.10 per hour for government contract workers in new contracts cannot be many people. Most people working for the government or for a company contracted with the government make more than that in the first place. In the plants around here, the lowest wage person is called a laborer. They make in the high teens or low 20s per hour. At the Postal Service, a custodian made 30K per year, and that was several years ago.

Back in the Nixon "era" the media wasn't so conglomerated there was still a degree of competition for ratings among the fifty or so networks and journalists back in those days understood they were watchdogs for the people instead of lapdogs for the "establishment". Now there are only five or six networks all owned and controlled by the same interlocking multinational corporations and the journalists they employ love their jobs more than the truth.

Whether it's the "liberal" or "neocon" media it's all just one big happy globalist media now and it's only purpose is to divide us and keep us focused on "the other side" and fighting over a passel of framed debates while the globalists extract the last of our remaining wealth.

Which organizations do you think still have the interest of we the people at heart? I mean between the major branches that most of us know of, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, (of course NBC has MSNBC and CNBC) AP, BBC, PBS, etc.

Back when there were major news magazines, like Time, etc, I thought US News and World Report did the best job of reporting the news. Also, what is your opinion of the Drudge Report?

I think all of them depend on their corporate sponsorship that comes in the form of advertising and the support of corporate funding as in the case of PBS to the point where they are to afraid to offend these corporate sponsors by letting too much of the truth slip out at any one time.

It does trickle out a piece at a time but not so often as to let the average viewer get a view of the whole picture. And if one does he/she is immediately demonized as a "kook" or some other form of "anti American" misfit on the fringe of society.

Allowing real questions to be asked about what's really happening in government or with our "leadership" is simply out of the question now. A journalist that is employed by any of the major networks that dare ask "hardball" questions will not be employed for long so they self censor themselves to protect their career and "credibility".

Drudge? I think he is helping to wake people up to what is really going on by posting information from alternative media sources but I think he understands the public can only take the truth a small spoonful at a time without being gripped by a violent seizure caused by cognitive dissonance.

Ya have to remember after being fed a steady diet of lies, half truths and misinformation our entire lives the public will find the truth tastes a bit funny at first. We were all conditioned to accept a false paradigm one small step at a time so bringing us back into reality will have to happen the same way.

It is working. People are waking up and rejecting the false left vs right paradigm, and that scares the globalists that have gotten used to controlling all the information and using the divide and conquer tactic against us all this time half to death so much so that they keep overplaying their hand and exposing themselves and how their system of control works.

Obama being a pliable vassal of the globalists that he is is pushing their agenda to destroy our republic and replace it with a communist/socialist style police state dictatorship that can be easily merged into their "one world government" of by and for the elite people are starting to set up and take notice so now they the globalist aren't even trying to hide it anymore.

Only those that are hopelessly addicted to being part of the false left vs right paradigm or are simply uninterested and consent by their silence are still defending the establishment status quo and this is a good place to witness that first hand.

Oh, but big bad John Boehner is going to do something about it. What that something is....we don't know.

Boehner said the president ignores the Congress and Constitution at his own political peril if he hopes to go it alone.

“If he tries to ignore this, he’s going to run into a brick wall,” Boehner said. “We have a Constitution. We’re not going to sit here and let the president trample all over us.”

That's because we are in an economic crisis and the do-nothing Republicans will do nothing about it. Their only agenda is to block everything Obama proposes.

On the left hand most everything Obama and the democrats do shields the people that created the economic crisis from being held personally responsible.

But on the right hand most everything the republicans do shields the people that created the economic crisis from being held personally responsible.

    Get the picture?

The democrats and republicans are only interested in shielding the people that created the economic crisis from being held personally responsible.

And they're all doing it at your expense. So my question to you is, why you would even consider being an apologist for people who's only goal in life is to attain power and act on the behalf of those putting the screws to you?

Is feeling like you belong to some group really that important?

It is up to Congress to stop this power grab by the wannabe dictator.

So far they have groused about him changing legislation and the law by executive order, but they have done nothing.

Almost everything Obama proposes is harmful to the country and/or the economy and should be opposed.

The problem is that Obama is not a consensus builder. He is an ideological divider, unwilling to compromise. A wannabe dictator.

Therefore he must be opposed at almost every turn.

Do you realize how preposterous you sound? You lost two elections. Get over it. Obama is nowhere as dangerous as Dick Cheney and the Neo-Con crowd were. How many useless wars of aggression has Obama started? Answer zero.

    I didn't lose anything.

Dick Cheney is not in office and has less than nothing to do with the incompetence of the ideological divider you helped elect.

What you have is a man who wins elections in the white house, largely because of the blindness and ignorance of his supporters. He is a total failure as a president, a wannabe dictator. And that is your fault.

It is the duty of Congress to oppose his power grabs.

Arguing with another DNC operative will get you no where.
